Where do you work?
I'm based in Nevada County and work throughout Northern California, from Grass Valley and Nevada City to Truckee, Auburn, and the greater Sacramento area. I also take on select projects in the greater Los Angeles area, where I've completed work for years.
What does the design process look like?
Every project starts with a conversation about how you live and what you want the space to feel like. From there I move through concept, space planning, and finish and furnishing selections, then into ordering, project management, and installation. I guide each step personally, so nothing feels rushed or handed off.
Do you take on full remodels and new builds, or just furnishings?
Both. I work on new builds and full remodels alongside clients, architects, and builders, and I also take on more focused projects, from a single room to a considered refresh. Whatever the scope, the goal is the same: a home that feels collected and made to last.
How do you charge?
Fees depend on the scope of the project. After our first conversation I'll put together a proposal tailored to what you're planning, so you'll know what to expect before we begin.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the size and scope, and on lead times for the pieces we choose. A focused room can come together in a few months, while a full remodel or new build runs longer. I'll give you a realistic timeline early on, and I'd always rather do it right than fast.
Do you offer remote or virtual design?
Yes. For clients outside my immediate area, or those who prefer to work at a distance, I offer remote design so we can create the same thoughtful, layered result wherever you are.
What should I have ready before reaching out?
Nothing formal. A sense of the space, a rough timeline, and any images that speak to you are more than enough to start. We'll shape the rest together.
